Students, ET Learns Honored at 10th Anniversary Celebration

Students and ET Learns were both honored at the 10th anniversary celebration of the Liqa school in Wolaita. The celebration, held Oct. 21, was meant to recognize the national success that the students of the Liqa school have achieved, as well as highlight ET Learns' role in furthering students' education through technology.

Several student-led activities were part of the event. Wearing their ET Learns T-shirts and traditional Ethiopian sashes, students from the Liqa school performed for a large crowd including the First Lady of Ethiopia, Roman Tesfaye.

Tesfaye gave a speech at the event along with other educators from the Liqa school. Ashenafi, our ET Learns Coordinator, also gave a small speech representing ET Learns. He expressed how thankful we are to be a part of the students' learning, and how proud we've been of the students' success in Liqa.

We're very excited for the Liqa students and for the national success that they've achieved. ET Learns is glad we can help these amazing students reach their potential.

A Liqa school student thanks ET Learns on behalf of the Liqa school.
